MLM Downline Training Ideas

It is no secret that the MLM downline is the real power source of your network marketing business. Without the synergy created by your network marketing team, your business will never rise above the level of simply being a direct sales sole proprietorship. The key to having a poweful downline in your MLM business is training. Your team members need to learn the skills, tactics and strategies that are going allow for their success in MLM. There are three critical areas that every member of your downline team should be trained in to achieve optimal results.

The first area of training is network marketing lead generation. With out effective lead generation strategies, your team members will find themselves without people to discuss the products or opportunity of your multi level marketing company with. This training should include techniques for both offline and online lead generation. Traditionally we have always asked our team members to develop a list of friends, relatives and acquaintances. This training shoud take them beyond this basic starting point and into things like blogging, social media and article marketing for network marketing lead generation. This teaching should be accomplished not simply through lecture, but also hands on experience of utilizing these different marketing tools.

The next area of training for your MLM downline is presentation skills. This training should include both the presentation of product and the presentation of your MLM opportunity. This again should focus on several levels of presentation including face to face, via telephone and online. Included in this overall presentation process are such elements as follow up, appointment setting and asking for the order or enrollment. Again this area of training should include hands on exercises and not just lecture.

The final area of training for your MLM downline is reproduction. This training should focus on teaching your distributors to teach others. As you teach a skill or method to a distributor, you should then make them responsible for teaching it to someone else. This form of training needs to be almost exlusively done utilizing hands on methodplogy. Giving a distributor responsibility for teaching a skill they have been taught will not only reinforce that skill, but it will cause them to improve on that skill as well.

When you focus on these three elements with each member of your team, you will create a highly effective and productive MLM downline. The working knoweledge of each member of the downline will aid in strong multiplication within your MLM business.
